A 64 core machine running Windows Server 2008/12 would be capable of running 64 parallel processes simultaneously thereby reducing the wait time of creating back-adjusted data by nearly a factor of 2 fold for each doubling in cores available. i.e. a binomial progression 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64 meaning 6 times faster than a single core in this case.
