Update History

Current version: 4.0.2.xxx

  • *** NEW: There are now two ways to think about how to apply sessions:
  1. Sessions that follow YOUR local time.  You may wish to align all the sessions commonly (e.g. exactly 0900h to 1400h EST) across several global commodities so that the exact time as expressed by the EST session gets printed to file.  With this method the sessions are STATIC to your timezone.  This means that overseas markets times at the session start and end points can appear to move in line with their DST and hemispherical movements during the year. However, the time will still be EST as set by your sessions. If you wish to use this approach, set the Session Type Selector combobox (see above image) to Local Timezone Sessions.
  2. Sessions that follow the REMOTE exchange’s timezone.  You may wish to follow the overseas sessions according to the overseas local time but then adjust those times back to the local time of YOU. This means that overseas markets times at the session start and end points will remain static and follow the overseas local time. Any adjustments that subsequently need to be made back to your local time may vary because of the normal DST and hemispherical movements of YOUR timezone during the year. If you wish to use this approach, set the Session Type Selector combobox (see above image) to Remote Timezone Sessions.

  • Introduction of dynamic Session Templates with description video.
  • Session times are now not restricted to 0000 – 2359
  1. You may set a session start time from the PRIOR session so you can extract the full night session.  E.g. BP set from 1400 – 0720 on any day say 28th August 2013 creating RTH Daily bars will build its daily bar from 1401 – 0720 (inclusive) on 27th August 2013 – 28th August 2013 and will timestamp it as 28th August 2013
  2. The introduction of a special “2400” time that can be used in the session end time.  This will ensure that the midnight bar will be included in any extractions.  E.g. setting 0000-2400 in the case of RTH Daily bars will include data from 0001 to 0000 the following day.
  3. Setting 0000-2359 will do exactly that and will include extractions from 0001 to 2359 inclusive.
  1. There was an issue whereby using a bespoke roll series was reliant upon a roll series being set on the main Roll Manager window.  This should not be the case and bespoke roll series should be completely independent, which has now been corrected.
